It has alcoholic fermentation with traditional maceration of the husks for about 8 days. Once the alcoholic and malolactic fermentations are finished, the product completes its maturation in french oak barrels for 4-5 months. The process ends with an appropriate refinement in bottle.
This Chianti Superiore appears a dense ruby red; rich nose releasing fresh fragrances of violet, soft fruit, cherry and plum. It has depth and a full-rounded taste, which is not only pleasantly soft and warm, but also lasting in time.
